Ron & Katie were blessed with a nearly perfect July day for their wedding at Gervasi Vineyard. The sun would peek in and out of the clouds throughout their day, which both provided some beautiful light for pictures, and also kept everyone in the wedding party from being overcome by oppressive heat or humidity. The setting itself also transported guests and attendees to another place. Gervasi is one of my favorite locations for shooting a wedding – I often feel like I’m transported directly to the rolling hills of Napa – especially in the beautiful Villa Grande area of the grounds.
Katie’s girls were all adorned in the most delightful purple dresses, and each attendant carried a beautiful pink bouquet that was magnificently arranged by Ashley’s Floral. Their wedding ceremony itself was short and sweet...there was barely enough time to capture all the important shots! But I’m sure their guests didn’t mind the brevity at all as it allowed everyone to move on to the fun part – the dinner and dancing which followed! And speaking of dinner – the lovely meal was capped off with the most amazing array of cupcakes and a wide-ranging assortment of different flavors of macarons.
An ideal time weather-wise, a fantastic location, and all their friends and family gathered together – Ron & Katie had an exceptional day for their wedding. We wish them great happiness in their new life together, and we are grateful to them for allowing us to be a part of their celebration!
